Most of you probably know me as potterfreak16, and are here because you followed me over from Quizilla, my former writing sanctuary. Since its relaunch, I have decided to leave the site due to its many problems.
Things you may have already figured out are that my real name is Katie, I'm twenty years old, and I live in the not-as-dangerous-as-everyone-thinks city of Detroit. I'm a sophomore at one of the state's most boring colleges, but I'm dealing with it the best way I can.
I don't like close-minded people. I don't like ignorance, arrogance, or selfishness. If you're a person who embodies any of these undesirable qualities, don't bother friending me.
My main passion in life is writing. I've been writing since I was three years old, and I don't think I'll ever stop. I'm currently majoring in psychology, because that's my other passion in life, but I'm minoring in journalism.
I have a slightly unhealthy obsession with Harry Potter, and that is my one and only fandom. My all-time favorite ship is Harry/Ginny, hands down. I also love Ron/Hermione. I'm not a huge fan of slash or non-canon pairings, but I have come across stories that were expertly written. My favorite character is Ginny Weasley - I don't care if people don't like her, I think she's amazing.
I'm also very involved in politics, and I affiliate myself with the Democratic party. I currently support Barack Obama to be our next president.
